The Miharu ABC Kids graduation class of 2007 - Momoka, Momoko, Takuma, and Haruto! On March 21st we gathered at the Ogisawa Kominkan (Community Center) for a ceremony to honor our FIRST full class of Preschool graduates. Juntaro graduated last year by himself. These four kids have been with us for THREE and a HALF years. Their English is amazing! They understand everything we say, even at normal American speeds. They are forming complete sentences, and reading/writing at Kindergarten, early First Grade levels. They are SOOO smart and cool! I am very proud of them. I was proud of ALL the kids. They sat and listened thru the WHOLE ceremony! A lot of our kids are leaving us to go into regular Japanese kindergarten or daycare (we can't accept kids without their parents present because we are a "Circle" not a school YET), so we will miss them. A few are moving away - Yui and Hitomi, Haruto and Kou - but most of them will come back for Summer School and Special events and/or attend one of our other classes, if not the daytime Preschool program.
